Orange Park Bible Church

Richard McRae pastored in the Jacksonville area for over 18 years. He received his (B.Th.) from Florida Baptist College in Graceville, Florida, his (M.Div.) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and is currently completely work on his doctorate from The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California.  He is also a NANC certified counselor.  Rich and his wife, Julia, have three children.

Mike Carryl is an elder at Orange Park Bible Church. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up, he attended Westside Baptist Church and Luther Rice Seminary where he graduated in 1992. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Bible College.  Mike has worked in the tire and automotive industry with three local businesses from 1976-present  and presently manages Tire Kingdom at 591 Park St. in downtown Jacksonville. From 1985 until 1991, he served in a leadership role at Westside Baptist Church last serving as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Deacons. In 1992 Mike left Westside Baptist Church to help support a new mission work that originated from WBC.
After an extensive study of the Scriptures concerning church leadership, Mike came to the conviction that the local church should be led by a plurality of Godly men (i.e. elders), which greatly influenced he and his family in 1992 to consider being a permanent part of the church plant in Orange Park, Florida now known as Orange Park Bible Church that would be elder led. To his surprise but also to his delight, this work of God in Mike’s life resulted in Mike becoming one of the two founding elders of Orange Park Bible Church. For the past 23 years, Mike has faithfully taught adult Bible studies in the two churches he and his family have attended. His passion for the Word of God and diligent study is evident as he continues to teach verse by verse at Orange Park Bible Church. Mike encourages people to study the Word of God for themselves and to know the Truth so that they might be able to “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).
Mike and his wife, Laura, have been married for thirty-two years, and they have three children: Jason 30, Morgan 27, and Jonathan 18. They also have two grandchildren through Morgan: Micah 2 years old and Josiah 4 months old as of August 15th, 2010.

Ayron Wilson was born in Bartow, Florida and has lived in Jacksonville, Florida since about 1988. He is a member of Orange Park Bible Church where he feels privileged to serve by preaching when asked by the Elders of the church. Ayron is a student at Conservative Theological Seminary. There he received an Associate degree in Pastoral Studies and is now in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry. Ayron has been married to his wife Chevvette since 1995 and they have four children: Ayron Jr., Ayrmon, Ayrissa, and Ayrlissa

Scott Moore is an elder at Orange Park Bible Church. He is also Vice President of Training and Operations at Winn-Dixie Supermarkets based in Jacksonville, Fl.   He received his Bachelors of Human Resources Development from South Western College and also attended both Bob Jones University and Faith Baptist Bible College.Scott has been married to his wife, Robyn, for 28 years and has three children; Blake, Brock and Bethany.

Steve Hereford has been in pastoral ministry since 1989. Following his doctoral work, he founded Changed By Grace Community Church in Jacksonville, FL where he serves with his wife, Theresa, and five kids: Jeremy, Naomi, Karrah, Nathan and Samuel. Steve is the featured speaker on "Changed By Grace.”

John (Jay) Younts is the author of Everyday Talk: Talking Freely and Naturally About God with Your Children, What About War?, In Touch with Paul Stewardship Series. An elder in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church, John has taught on and studied issues related to biblical child rearing for over thirty years. John is a frequent speaker for parenting conferences, church seminars for parents, and youth meetings. He has been interviewed on radio stations around the country. He and his wife Ruth have five grown children and reside in South Carolina.
